Hartland Park Animal Hospital Lexington, KY
Policies
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. Sometimes, our veterinarian may recommend giving your pet a mild sedative to ensure we can safely and effectively care for your pet.
Appointment Types
- New Client Sick and Well Pet Appointment
- Established Client Sick and Well Pet Appointments
- Surgical and Sedated Appointments
- Drop Off Appointments (Day Admission)
- Technician Care Appointments
- We reserve several appointment times throughout the day to ensure we are available to care for existing patients and clients. These appointments become available at 8:00 am every day.
- Drop Off Appointments: For your convenience, we offer "drop-off" appointments. These may be scheduled in advance or on the day needed. They are available only for EXISTING clients for pets who are current on their vaccinations. A "drop off" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. We also offer this if our appointment schedule is full to ensure your pet is cared for promptly. Usually we will ask you to "drop off" sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over our treatment plan and pick up time for your pet.
